ABOUT US
WITG came about as the result of a vision God gave to the
founder in 2014. In the words of the
founder: “I had been petitioning the
Lord in prayer regarding the poor decisions we as women make in life and I
inquired of the Lord as to why this continues to occur, regardless of the
background and self-esteem of the woman”.
Finally, the Lord answered this question and said “Because You Don’t
Know Who You Are in Christ. It’s Not
About Self-Esteem, It’s About Christ-Esteem” said the Lord. The Lord then allowed the founder to “hear
the cries of the women” as such: Lord,
I’m too fat, Lord, I’m too skinny, Lord, I’m not smart enough, Lord, I’m not
pretty enough, Lord I’m ugly. Lord I’m… Some
of the things the Lord revealed regarding the cries of each woman are too
personal and intimate to share. The Lord
then impressed upon the founder’s heart to build this organization and teach
women to recognize Who They Are in Christ.
The founder is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with numerous
years of experience in working with women and their families in clinical and
non-clinical settings. Most importantly,
she is a devout Christian who endeavors to accomplish the mission God has laid on her heart to fulfill.
